Excuisite and Moderately Priced Klockwerks by
Roger Wood
My first reaction to Wood's clocks was how pretty they all are, my second was that they were probably very expensive (and rightfully so, these are some inspired clocks) so when I saw that most were under $400.00, well there was a little jaw dropping. There is supposedly (supposedly because their web link seems dead but sometimes the internet is a fickle beast) Tacoma based store called The Art Shop that carries some of these gems which means an upclose gander may be in the near future. In the mean time I'll just gaze at klockwerks.com and wish that Santa

For the next 6 mos. - 1 year I am working on designing and building a miniature museum that ultimately will be a cross between P.T. Barnum's American Museum and Hearst Castle. The museum will have 4 wings or rooms and a main lobby.

Silver urn with yellow roses (one of the set of two that will adorn the great fire place in the lobby of the museum, and a pewter frog which will reside in the pharmacothea section as it has an over all frog based theme. I have a second of the frogs
and think I may turn them into door handles.

35¢ plastic urn, sanded and repainted with DecoColor liquid silver and then "polished" with my Dremel.

One 15¢ rubber frog, painted silver and then sprayed with satin clear wood finish.

So it may have taken me three times longer than I anticipated but I finally finished the music video I have been working on. It was quite the learning curve seeing as I did not know how to use Flash (Thank you Matt Stein, you're a gentlemen and a Flash Master) before I was asked to make the video, but I think I did pretty well and loved the process, it also helped that the song the video is for (Greg Connors 'Itinerary') is a beautiful track that I hope everyone will take a listen to as he really is a great songwriter. Hope you enjoy!
