And yet Hollywood wants to give yet another re-hash of Halloween even though John Carpenter got it more than right the first time...les sigh.

Excuisite and Moderately Priced Klockwerks by
Roger Wood
My first reaction to Wood's clocks was how pretty they all are, my second was that they were probably very expensive (and rightfully so, these are some inspired clocks) so when I saw that most were under $400.00, well there was a little jaw dropping. There is supposedly (supposedly because their web link seems dead but sometimes the internet is a fickle beast) Tacoma based store called The Art Shop that carries some of these gems which means an upclose gander may be in the near future. In the mean time I'll just gaze at klockwerks.com and wish that Santa

For the next 6 mos. - 1 year I am working on designing and building a miniature museum that ultimately will be a cross between P.T. Barnum's American Museum and Hearst Castle. The museum will have 4 wings or rooms and a main lobby.

Silver urn with yellow roses (one of the set of two that will adorn the great fire place in the lobby of the museum, and a pewter frog which will reside in the pharmacothea section as it has an over all frog based theme. I have a second of the frogs
and think I may turn them into door handles.

35¢ plastic urn, sanded and repainted with DecoColor liquid silver and then "polished" with my Dremel.

One 15¢ rubber frog, painted silver and then sprayed with satin clear wood finish.

So it may have taken me three times longer than I anticipated but I finally finished the music video I have been working on. It was quite the learning curve seeing as I did not know how to use Flash (Thank you Matt Stein, you're a gentlemen and a Flash Master) before I was asked to make the video, but I think I did pretty well and loved the process, it also helped that the song the video is for (Greg Connors 'Itinerary') is a beautiful track that I hope everyone will take a listen to as he really is a great songwriter. Hope you enjoy!

Two sided piece(Front side is here) for the Type & Culture Project uncovering Seattle's contradictory personality. I chose to look at the architectural and housing dilemma in Seattle. We keep building these McCondos all over the city but then no one buys them and we all complain about how ugly they are...yet build more we must...can't resist...cookie cutter housing...

Getting closer to completing all the art work for the music video I am working on. This is from the juke joint scene there will be 5 scenes all together all inter-cut. Once drawing is done then comes animating...

I've been kindly asked to make a music video with a friend of mine and have been dutifully drawing away as we only have about a month to throw it all together. It's a bit insane an certainly ambitious of us, but really exciting and fun. This is a still shot from the opening scene

Dim the lights in the drawing room and light a few candles, it's time for a seance! Ask questions of love & fate while deciphering messages from beyond with Ms. Imogene Froward's Mystical Talking Board. Each board measures 11 x 14" and comes equipped with wooden hand planchette to point out the murmurings of the Spirit world. Perfect for a dark and spooky Halloween night.

Here is an amusing (although in my opinion a few of the questions are a bit on the needless side) quiz that will determine what flavor of Metal you are...as indicated below I am Old School...which seems about right, I like metal in the form of Iron Maiden and Motorhead to be honest with some delving into things like King Diamond cuz really who deosn't love Danish metal operas covering such classic themes like the undead unborn, grandmothers and mental asylums and historically accurate accounts of witch trials. I should warn you this is a bit of a long quiz, but I was especially bored when I stumbled upon it.

You scored as Heavy Metal/Old School

You are a normal die hard metal fan, you love old school and will support metal to the death, Death to false metal and to other genres apart from metal!!!
